COHERENT METHOD FOR MEASURING OF SURFACE VELOCITY OF ULTRASONIC VIBRATIONS

The possibility of precise measurement of the phase velocity of surface oscillations ( Rayleigh waves ) by using the method of phase determination of the time delay. Definition of integer phase cycles cumulative phase shift of the output signals of ultrasonic transducers ‒ receivers oscillation is performed by measuring the phase shifts of these vibrations at two close frequencies determined by the condition that the phase shift in the range of less than the phase cycle.
