Abstract

The equation for calculation the fluid flow velocity in a narrow capillary grounded on the theory of electrokinetic streaming potential phenomenon is developed. It takes into account the electrokinetic slowing down effect. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of the equation values, which influence the electrokinetic slowing down effect of hydrocarbons during the capillary percolation through the bottomhole reservoir rocks of the producing wells is carried out. The approaches to minimize this effect are determined.
