The method of measuring of viscosity of the non-Newtonian liquids by means of rotational viscometer, which gives the possibility to determine the flow consistency index рідини and the flow behavior index in Ostwald-de Waele power law . The method gives the opportunity to remove the impact of the frictional torque in the sensor shaft sealing and in the shaft bearings on the measuring results. For this purpose in the method proposed the torque acting on the sensor is measured at the approach of the sensor rotation frequency to the selected for carrying out the measurement value on the side of the lower lying frequency, and on the side of the higher lying frequency. The two obtained torque values are then averaged out. The measurements are carried out at two predetermined sensor rotation frequencies. The sensor rotation frequency is programly changed by means of the variable speed drive.
